US Congress Priorities are a Mess

Of all the problems the US Congress could be dealing with right now at home - deficit, war, civil liberties, education, healthcare, etc. - they choose to attack the UN despite warnings from eight former UN Ambassadors and Secretaries of State and, incredibly, President Bush. It plays in the sticks, baby. Bash those foreigners and their antichrist agenda. Electoral politics in the US is incredible dysfunctional right now.
