Thinking about how precarious our position on Earth is. Even slight changes have an enormous impact on us. Big changes are catastrophic. Change is inevitable, but we need to be careful not to accelerate it beyond our ability to cope.
Also, for those of you who have not seen them, I invite you to view the product of my former obsession with water optics: A Thousand Drops of Light is a set of over 1300 macro photos of water and light refracting through it like a lens.
I am a communications technology pro by trade, an activist at heart. I care deeply about the health of my family and work hard to contribute to solutions to the great challenges of our day such as climate change and an out-of-control food system. I am a bon vivant, artist, writer and wannabe musician. I deeply appreciate my friends and colleagues and all the creativity and knowledge they bring. I hope I am always learning from them.
